CBT is a talking therapy which can be used with children, young people and adults. It is especially useful for those experiencing anxiety and depression, in considering how our negative thoughts affect our feelings and behaviours. This is often very insightful for clients and brings about a high level of empowerment as they recognise their own ability to bring about change in their life. What we learn from addressing one difficulty, can usually be used to bring about change in other ones as well.
